LOCATION and DIRECTIONS

Location: ACWC operates through three locations - Linwood, Northfield and our Emergency Shelter.

Emergency Shelter: The location of the shelter is CONFIDENTIAL.

NORTHFIELD SITE SERVICES
The Northfield site houses the Violence Intervention Program (excluding shelter services), the Child Care Network's Temporary Assistance For Needy Family Program, New Jersey Cares For Kids Program, Child Care Resource and Referral services, Infant/Toddler Quality Initiative services, Child Care Health Consultant Coordinator services. All administrative offices are located at the Northfield Site.

Directions to Northfield Site:

From Cape May Court House: Travel Garden State Parkway to Exit 36 (Northfield). Turn LEFT onto Fire Rd. Turn RIGHT at next light onto Tilton Rd. Travel through 5 lights. At sixth light (a five-point intersection), turn LEFT onto Shore Rd. Travel 1.5 miles. At next light (intersection of Shore Rd. & Dolphin Ave.), you will see a large red brick building. Immediately following the light, turn LEFT into Atlantic County Facilities at Northfield.

From Ocean County: Travel Garden State Parkway to Exit 37 (Washington Ave. Pleasantville). Turn LEFT onto Washington Ave. Travel through 3 lights. At fourth light, turn RIGHT onto Main St. Travel two miles until you see large red brick buildings. Turn RIGHT into Atlantic County Facilities at Northfield.

From Camden/Williamstown: Travel Atlantic City Expressway East to Garden State Parkway (Exit7S). Look for immediate Exit 37 (Washington Ave. Pleasantville). Turn LEFT onto Washington Ave. Travel through 3 lights. At fourth light, turn RIGHT onto Main St. Travel two miles until you see large red brick buildings. Turn RIGHT into Atlantic County Facilities at Northfield.

From Salem, Cumberland or Gloucester: Travel Route 40 East through Mays Landing to the Black Horse Pike (You will pass the Hamilton Mall.) Follow signs for Atlantic City. Stay on the Black Horse Pike until Main St. in Pleasantville. (You will see a Dunkin Doughnuts on the right and a Jo-Jo's Restaurant on the left.) Turn RIGHT onto Main St. At fourth light, turn RIGHT onto Main St. Travel two miles until you see large red brick buildings. Turn RIGHT into Atlantic County Facilities at Northfield.

Once in Parking Lot: You will see a large brick building on your left. Park toward back of building where it is connected to another building by a glass walkway bridge. Enter glass door under walkway into second building. Take elevator to second floor.

To Linwood from Philadelphia

  • Take exit I-676 E/US-30 E/BEN FRANKLIN BR.
  • Merge onto I-676 E via the ramp on the LEFT toward I-95 (Portions toll).
  • I-676 E becomes I-76 E.
  • I-76 E becomes NJ-42 S.
  • NJ-42 S becomes ATLANTIC CITY EXPY S (Portions toll).
  • Take the SOUTH GARDEN STATE PARKWAY exit- EXIT 7S.
  • Merge onto CR-563/TILTON RD via EXIT 36 toward NORTHFIELD/MARGATE.
  • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NEW RD/US-9.
  • End at 1201 New Rd, Linwood, NJ

To Linwood from north New Jersey

  • Take the I-95 S/TURNPIKE SOUTH.
  • Merge onto NEW JERSEY TPKE CARS ONLY LN S/I-95 S toward CARS ONLY (Portions toll).
  • Take EXIT 11 toward US-1/WOODBRIDGE/RT-440/THE AMBOYS/US-9/GARDEN STATE PARKWAY SOUTH.
  • Merge onto GARDEN STATE PKWY S via the exit on the LEFT (Portions toll).
  • Take GARDEN STATE PKY EXPRESS LN S toward EXPRESS/EXITS 117- 105/ASBURY PARK/SOUTH JERSEY (Portions toll).
  • Merge onto GARDEN STATE PKWY S (Portions toll).Merge onto CR-563/TILTON RD via EXIT 36 toward NORTHFIELD/MARGATE.
  • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NEW RD/US-9.
  • End at 1201 New Rd, Linwood, NJ

To Linwood from south New Jersey

  • Go onto GARDEN STATE PKWY N (Portions toll).
  • Take the US-9 N exit- EXIT 29- toward SOMERS PT/OCEAN CITY.
  • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NEW RD/US-9.
  • End at 1201 New Rd, Linwood, NJ
