ROCK BAND COMPETITION IN AC

The Atlantic County Women’s Center (ACWC) will hold “Battle of the Bands - Wii Rock Band 2” competition from 6-9PM on Saturday, August 15th  at the House of Blues Foundation Room - Showboat Casino Hotel Resort, 801 Boardwalk, Atlantic City.

The House of Blues- Atlantic City, Sojo 104.9 and Broadview Network will sponsor the ACWC “Battle of Bands” competition.  Gather all your friends for a night to remember! The innovative Nintendo Wii Rock Band 2 music game will challenge rockers to master the lead guitar, drums and vocals with a fun and challenging experience.  Equipment is provided.  Limited to 10 bands, so sign up early!  
$60 band registration. 4 person limit per band.  General admission tickets are $20 at the door or in advance. Great prizes will be awarded to the best bands!  Judging and contest rules apply. All proceeds to benefit the ACWC.

THE ACWC 2009 "DREAM DESTINATION" SUMMER RAFFLE

The Atlantic County Women’s Center’s (ACWC) 2009 “Dream Destination” Summer Raffle tickets are available for sale now through August 31, 2009. Ticket price $5 each.  Win a dream trip for two in the Continental U.S. or abroad.  Maximum prize value $3000. Drawing on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 12:00pm.  Need not be present to win. Tickets can be purchased at 1201 New Road, Suite 240, Linwood NJ.
