VOLUNTEER CRISIS ADVOCATES NEEDED

The Women's Center is in need of trained Volunteer Crisis Advocates throughout Atlantic County.  Advocates are specially trained volunteers who are on call to support individuals through crisis.  This training allows the volunteer to work directly with survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault.  This support takes place at a police station or hospital within Atlantic County.

There is a required 60-hour training program which includes observation and direct experience on our crisis hotline.

For more information, please contact our Volunteer Crisis Advocate Coordinator at 609-601-9925 ext. 1031 or e-mail us at  monique.corbitt@acwc.org
